About Fotronix – Film Lab Equipment & IT Specialists
Our Story
Fotronix (Formerly Optimize Services LTD) was officially founded in 2024, but our journey started in 2020 when we operated a film lab called PicFilm. Frequent equipment failures and breakdowns caused delays in film processing, impacting our customers. With a strong background in IT and engineering, we decided to take matters into our own hands—repairing and optimizing film lab machinery to keep operations running smoothly.
Initially, we provided solutions for other labs while still running PicFilm. However, after a few months, we recognized a greater need for reliable repair and modernization services in the film industry. That’s when we made the decision to close the lab and dedicate ourselves entirely to helping others.
The Birth of Fotronix
From the beginning, our focus has been on updating and modernizing film labs, transforming outdated technology into efficient, high-performance systems. Our expertise lies in working with:

Global Reach & Partnerships
Fotronix is run by Reiss Jerham and based in Cheshire, North West England. No lab is too far for us—whether by train, plane, or car, we can help you! Since 2022, we have supported numerous film labs worldwide, forming strong industry alliances, including our notable partnership with Mori Film Lab in Belgium.
