About the Leica M7

Born after 17 years of design, the Leica M7 TTL .72 Rangefinder is a fantastic hybrid of classic Leica values with modern electronic advantages — a camera that is faster than ever yet still endowed with the soul of a Leica. The M7's classic dimensions are identical to the M3 first introduced in 1954, a real testament to the brilliance of the design.

Features include aperture-priority autoexposure, an informative viewfinder displaying shutter speed, film speed, exposure mode and flash readiness, automatic DX film speed recognition, and TTL flash sync up to 1/1000th second with Leica-specific Metz flashes. Backup manual speeds of 1/60th and 1/125th are available without batteries.

The M7 features the improved MP-type viewfinder and optical DX reader — the upgraded specification that makes this example especially desirable. Whisper-quiet, reliable, and easily focused, with a broad selection of lenses available in both new and used markets.
